LEONE B. SCHWARTZ “On the Road” Leone B. Schwartz better known to all as Sam passed away peacefully Sunday, May 21, 2017 surrounded by friends. Leone was predeceased by her loving husband Don Schwartz (2001) and will be interred with him at St. Agatha Mennonite Cemetery at a later date. Leone (Sam) Schwartz travelled a road that began 91 years ago in Shelburne, Ontario where she was raised by her grandparents. As a young lady, Sam took the road south to Toronto. Sam worked hard and for many years, having new experiences and striking out as a pioneer in the cosmetic business. She travelled the road throughout Canada, teaching thousands about proper application and use of makeup. Sam was also the first female territorial Sales Representative within this field in Canada. She represented the likes of Coty, Max Factor and Yardley to mention a few. Her road continued across this country where she touched many lives. Sam never birthed children but her children and grandchildren grew through her caring ways and never really meeting a stranger. Sam wanted to thank everyone that helped her along the way. Her biggest thank you is to her dear friend Mike with his help she was able to live life the way she wanted too. She was truly loved and will be missed by her nieces, nephews, great-nieces/nephews, cousins, her Saskatoon family and all her dear friends. At Sam’s request, there will be no funeral service. There will be a memorial service to celebrate Sam’s life Monday, May 29, 2017 11 a.m., St. Hilary’s Mississauga, all are welcome. Mark Jutzi Funeral Home assisted with the arrangements.
