Michael “Mic” COUSINS
COUSINS, Michael “Mic” Peacefully after a round of golf on August 11th at the Hamilton General Hospital from complications of cancer in his 55th year. Beloved son of Patricia and Gerald. Loving brother of Susan Elizabeth Estey and Russell Cousins and brother-in-law to Shane Cooper. Super Fantastic uncle to little Mike. Nephew of the Rev. William G. Sheilds (Valerie). He will be missed by his extended family, friends, and loved ones. Mic lived each day as he wanted and to its fullest, wild and free. He loved his sports, cars and women and will forever be remembered for his humour and crazy antics. A special thank you to the staff of ICU East at the General Hospital for their amazing care and compassion. A Memorial Visitation will take place at Bay Gardens Funeral Home, 1010 Botanical Drive, Burlington (905.527.0405) on Saturday, August 19 from 11 a.m. – 1 p.m. Followed by a Celebration of Mic’s Life at 1:00 p.m. in the Chapel. Inurnment at Bayview Cemetery, Crematory & Mausoleum, Burlington. For those who wish, memorial donations made to the Ronald McDonald House would be appreciated.
