NOWAKOWSKI, Olga (nee Kowalenko) —
We are saddened to announce the passing of Olga Nowakowski on July 19, 2016. She will be lovingly missed by her brothers Walter and Victor, sisters-in-law Helen and Natalie and her nieces and nephews, John (Kathryn), Paul, Larysa, William and grandniece Anna. Olga had a heart of gold, was a superb teacher, she loved literature and the fine arts. Friends will be received at the Ridley Funeral Home, 3080 Lake Shore Blvd. W. (at 14th St., between Islington and Kipling Aves., 416-259-3705) on Friday from 2-4 and 6-9 p.m. Panakhyda at 7:30 p.m. The Orthodox rite of Funeral will held in the Chapel Saturday at 9 a.m. Interment to follow at Prospect Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Canadian Diabetes Association (Diabetes.ca)
