PETER MARTIN O’BOYLE January 5, 1955 – June 5, 2017 After a lengthy illness endured with both grace and strength, we are saddened to announce the death of Peter O’Boyle. He was the loving son of the late Peter and Peggy, brother to Terry, brother-in-law to Mona, Roberta, Jack, Gerry, Pat, Mike, Paul, Janice, Peter, Kim, Ken, Len, Pat, Nancy, Mike, Lori, Joe, Lynne and Kip, as well as uncle to several nieces and nephews. Peter was the cherished husband of Hyla and the devoted father of John, Kevin and Maggie. Peter leaves to mourn a large group of friends that encompass a lifetime, both personal and professional. Peter will be remembered for his kindness, loyalty, sense of humour and his appreciation for life’s simple treasures: family, friends and sports. His mantra was to never give up, to never give in. Those who knew Peter best would agree that he embraced that in every facet of his life. We are all blessed for the privilege to witness and benefit from, the example of humility and gentleness by which he lived. We would like to express our appreciation for the donation of meals and loving support shown to us these last months. We would also like to thank Dr. Lu, Dr. Yau, Dr. McLaren, the CVICU staff at Toronto General Hospital and the caring staff at Markham- Stouffville Hospital ICU for their respectful care and compassion. Friends may call at the O’Neill Funeral Home, 6324 Main Street, Stouffville, on Sunday, June 11, 2017 from 2-4 and 6-9 p.m. A Funeral Mass will be held at 11 a.m., Monday, June 12th at St. Mark’s Catholic Church, 345 Glad Park Avenue, Stouffville.
