PHILIP, James “Jim” Passed away peacefully, in Burlington, on Friday, June 10, 2016, in his 90th year. Beloved husband for 34 years of the late Marion (nee Lennox, 1994). Jim will be dearly missed by his loving daughters Cory and Kim. He will be fondly remembered by his companion of many years, Jane Houston. Jim was born in Windsor, Ontario, and spent many happy years in Montreal before moving his family to Burlington in 1975. Jim was a longtime curling member of the Burlington Golf & Country Club and former member of Aldershot Presbyterian Church. Visitation at SMITH’S FUNERAL HOME, 485 Brant Street, (one block north of City Hall), BURLINGTON (905-632-3333), on Tuesday, June 14, 2016 from 5-8 p.m., where a Funeral Service will be held in the Chapel on Wednesday, June 15, 2016 at 1 p.m. Reception will follow at the funeral home. Cremation will take place at a later date.
