STRIPINIS, Pranas “Frank” —
Passed away on Tuesday, June 28, 2016 at home. Born October 29, 1927 in Laizuva, Lithuania. Loving husband, father, grandfather and friend. Retired from Ontario Hydro as Chief Draftsman. An avid skier, Frank built the Loretto Ski Resort that brought many people a joy of skiing. Left to mourn are daughter Vida (John Sabiston), son Linas and grandchildren Jeffrey, Trevor (Cailin Munroe) and Milda Sabiston, as well as many relatives in Canada and Lithuania. Friends may call at the Turner & Porter “Peel” Chapel, 2180 Hurontario St., Mississauga (Hwy. 10, N. of the QEW), on Sunday, July 10th from 6 – 9 p.m. Funeral Mass will be held at Lithuanian Martyrs’ Church, 2185 Stavebank Rd., Mississauga, on Monday, July 11, 2016 at 11:00 a.m. Interment St. John’s Lithuanian Cemetery.
