Passed away peacefully in his sleep at Hillsdale Terraces on November 12th, 2016 at the age of 95. Predeceased by his loving wife Elsie (2003). Loving father of Reg Jackson (Gwen) of Portsmouth, England, Barbara Anderson (late Thomas) of Langley, B.C., Brenda Binder (late Robert) of Windsor, Ontario and Peter Jackson (Brenda) of Pickering, Ontario. Stepfather of Ronald Dawtry of Kingsville, Ontario. Adored Papa of Stacy Ohlsson (Claudio), Rachel Binder, Christopher Jackson (Natalia), Andrew Jackson (Alexandra) and late Sarah Binder (2007). Great grandfather of Christopher Ohlsson, Taylor Ohlsson and anticipated baby boy Jackson on the way. Predeceased by his parents and by his sisters Grace and Kathleen. Reginald will also be missed by dear and caring friends Margaret and Kay. Reginald will be forever remembered as a caring and loving father who was an avid golfer, sportsman and dedicated to his family and grandchildren. It was a great pleasure to him to attend every hockey and baseball games. Retired after many years of service with Royal Bank of Canada and longtime member of the Royal Regiment of Canada. Visitation will be held at OSHAWA FUNERAL HOME, 847 King Street West (905-721-1234) on Monday, November 21st, from 10:00 a.m. until time Funeral Service in the Chapel at 11:00 a.m. Interment at Thornton Cemetery.
