ROBERT “BOB” MELVILLE MITCHELL Born September 15, 1931 in Wei Wei, China. Passed away in his sleep on Monday, February 27, 2017 at the Markham Stouffville Hospital at the age of 85. Survived by his beloved wife of 56 years Marjory Marion (nèe Taylor); his loving children Stephen (Deborah), Karen, Sandra and Heather (Rick Dawson); his cherished grandchildren Kathryn, Alex, Michael, Shannon, Travis, Stacey Kira and Emily and his adored great-grandchildren. Bob will be sadly missed by his siblings Maggie and Peter (Helen) and predeceased by his sister Mary. “Uncle Bob” will be remembered by his plethora of family and close friends in Stouffville, Bobcaygeon and Unionville. Visitors are welcomed to O’Neill Funeral Home, 6324 Main Street, Stouffville, for a memorial visitation on Friday, March 3, 2017 from 2 – 4 and 7 – 9 p.m. A Memorial Service will take place on a later date. In lieu of flowers, memorial donation may be made to a charity of your choice.
