Marianne Marjorie SMITH
SMITH, Marianne Marjorie (nee Nettleton) January 9, 1940 – June 18, 2016 With heavy hearts we announce the peaceful passing of our dear Marianne. Cherished wife of Bill and generous, loving mother of her girls, Nancy and Stephen, Judy and Craig, and Jennifer and Wyatt. Marianne lived her life for her family and Grammy thrived on spending time with her beloved grandchildren, Thomas and Allison, Charlie and Madeleine, Libby, Jack and Cam. A true gentle woman, Marianne was a loving sibling to her dear brother Fred Nettleton, and wife Mary, and her beloved sister Barbara (2004) and husband Peter James (2001). Mara will be greatly missed. Words cannot adequately express the appreciation we have for everyone at Ancaster Meadows where Mom was so very happy and lovingly cared for. A remembrance of Marianne’s life will be celebrated at a later date. In Marianne’s memory please consider giving to the Alzheimer Society of Hamilton Halton.
