IWATA, Susie (nee UYEDE) In her 86th year, our dear sweet mother passed away suddenly on Friday, July 28, 2017 at Etobicoke General Hospital. Predeceased by her husband Roy. She will be forever loved, missed and remembered by her 3 daughters Carolyn (Harold Marquis), Julie and Laura (Jeff Metcalfe), her 3 grandchildren Gregory, Michael and Kelsey, her brother Harry (Chiz), sisters Carole Teranishi, Louise (Mamoru Hirowatari), Norma Iwata, sister-in-law Michi, brothers-in-law Mickey Kaneko, George (Barbara) Iwata, Fred (Hedy) Iwata and many nieces, nephews and cousins. Predeceased by brothers Gluck (Molly), Terry (Hazel), Muts, sister Agnes Kaneko and brother-in-law Tatsuo Teranishi. Visitation at Ward Funeral Home (Woodbridge Chapel), 4671 Hwy 7 (between Islington and Pine Valley on the south side) on Friday, August 4th from 1 – 3 and 5 – 8 p.m. A funeral service will be held in the chapel on Saturday at 11 a.m. with visitation 1 hour prior. Interment to follow at Beechwood Cemetery.
