FORTH, W. Elgin October 14, 1925 – January 23, 2017 Passed away at St. Joseph’s Hospital, Hamilton on Monday, January 23, 2017. Beloved husband of Dolores for 70 years. Dear father of Ken (Deborah), and Allan (Ann). Much loved grandfather of Holley, Kenny (Marsha), Heather (Brad), Melanie, and Matthew, and great-grandfather of Claire, Riley, and Wyatt. Brother of Audrey. Predeceased by his brother Irvin, and sister Doris. Past Master of Waterdown Lodge #357 – 1980. DDGM of Hamilton Masonic District A – 1990. Scottish Rite 32nd Degree. Past Patron, Order of the Easter Star, Waterdown Lodge #309. Elgin worked tirelessly in the Market Garden Industry for over 75 years as co-owner of Forthdale Farms. Special thanks to the staff at Amica, Dundas and St. Joseph’s Hospital for their wonderful care and support. Visitation will be held at KITCHING STEEPE & LUDWIG FUNERAL HOME , 146 Mill St. N, Waterdown on Wednesday, January 25, 2017 from 2-4 p.m., and 7-9 p.m., with a Masonic Service 9 p.m. A Funeral Service will be held in the Funeral Home Chapel on Thursday, January 26, 2017 at 10:30 a.m. Reception to follow.
