After a brief illness, Walter passed away peacefully with family by his side. Beloved husband of Nina. Cherished father of Donna (Michael) Tichonchuk, Gary (Carolyn), Greg (Jean) and Paul. Loving grandfather of Andrew (Jennifer), Laura, Kevin, Allie, Steph, Elizabeth, Rachel, James, Hannah, Jenna and Noah. Dear brother of Valya Carlton and brother-in-law of Rita Bobruk. A Private Family Interment Service will take place at Park Lawn Cemetery. Friends are invited to call at the Turner & Porter Yorke Chapel, 2357 Bloor St. W., at Windermere, east of the Jane Subway, on Tuesday, July 5, 2016 between 2:00 and 6:00 p.m. for a time of friendship and refreshments.
