HUGHES, William “Billy” Edward —
Unexpectedly at home in Toronto, Tuesday, April 4, 2017. Reunited with his beloved wife Gladys. Loving father of Guy, Elizabeth (Joe Konter) and Erin (predeceased). Cherished grandpa of Margaret Eileen and Trinity and great-grandpa to Katelyn. Predeceased by his sisters Eva and Anna and will be deeply missed by his brothers John (Doris) and Albert (Sue). He will also be fondly remembered by many nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. Bill retired from Bell Canada after 33 years of dedicated service from which he met many lifelong friends. Bill was also a very active member of St. Hilda’s Anglican Church where he will be sadly missed. Friends will be received at the McDOUGALL & BROWN FUNERAL HOME – Eglinton Chapel, 1812 Eglinton Ave. W. (east of Dufferin), Saturday, April 8, 2017 from 3-8 p.m. Funeral Service will take place at St. Hilda’s Anglican Church, 2353 Dufferin St., Monday, April 10, 2017 at 12 p.m. Cremation to follow at Riverside Crematorium.
