WILLIAM JAMES (BILL) FAIRBURN September 24, 1934 Passed away peacefully on November 13, 2016 with family by his side. Dearly loved husband of Sheila (nee Moore), married 55 years. Father of Mary Jane (Mark Rodger), Robin (Michael McBride), Michal (Murray Segal) and Nancy (James Dalziel). Proud grandfather of Liam, Jessie, Kathleen, Callum, Mary, Lachlan, Matthew, Claire and William. Dear brother of Mary Ann (Paul Dobrik). Bill honoured our country every day by raising the Canadian flag at home on Mosquito Flats. He was a passionate Canadian who treasured the values and iconic landscapes that define our country. Generous in spirit, valiant of heart, pursuer of knowledge, he embraced the broad diversity that is Canada. He lived life to the fullest and taught his family to do the same. The family extends their heartfelt thanks to Dr. Al-Hesayen, Haytham Sharar, the nursing staff and the entire medical team at St. Michael’s Hospital.
