GOLUB, Zvonko (Joseph) January 13, 1939 – September 24, 2017 Died peacefully at Fudger House in Toronto. Born in Zagreb, Croatia, he immigrated to Canada as a teenager in the 1950s. After working at Canada Packers for many years to support his family, he finally fulfilled his dream of opening a successful shoe repair store in Cabbagetown in 1985. He was a man of great spirit, energy and passion who loved to spend all his free time in High Park skating, playing tennis and talking with his friends. Predeceased by his first wife Ilona Golub and his second wife Marcel Golub. Father of David, Davor (who has him to thank for his singing voice and love of music) and Maya.
