SHEA, Chauncey Joseph Sadly, we announce that on Monday, June 4, 2018, Chauncey Shea passed away peacefully at the Village of Tansley Woods, Burlington in his 99th year. Loving husband of the late Jean Theadora Shea (July 30, 2015). Beloved father of Christopher (Cathy), Janice, Gary (Caterina), and E.G. Cherished grandfather of Carolyn, Ryan, Ian, Julia, Jaclyn, Martin, Michael and Adam and great-grandfather of Oliver.
Predeceased by his parents George and Amelia (nee McNamee) Shea and by his brother George and sister Eileen. Chauncey will be missed by his many friends at the Village of Tansley Woods.
A special thank you to all of the staff at the retirement home for all of their care and compassion. Visitation will be held at SMITH‘S FUNERAL HOME, 1167 Guelph Line (one stoplight north of QEW), BURLINGTON (905-632-3333), on Friday, June 8th from 12 noon until the time of Funeral Liturgy in the funeral home chapel at 1 p.m. Cremation to follow.
