It is with heavy hearts that we announce the peaceful passing of Danny on July 21st, 2021, in his 51st year, after a 10-month battle with cancer. Danny is pre-deceased by his father Joe (2005) and brother Larry (1998). Danny leaves behind his loving mother Carol, wife and high-school sweetheart, Linda, two beautiful children Lauren and Noah. Sister Jeanette and brother Roger (Jennifer).
Also a wonderful extended family of aunts, uncles and cousins. The family would like to extend their warmest gratitude to Danny’s close friends who came to visit during his final weeks, providing him with much joy. We also extend thanks to his palliative care team and personal support workers. A big shout out to his 2nd family, all the members of Cross-fit Outlaw North for your love and support.
Visitation at SMITH’S FUNERAL HOME, 454 Highway #8 (east of Millen Road) STONEY CREEK (905-664-4222) on Friday, July 23, 2021 from 3-5 and 7-9 p.m. and Saturday, July 24, 2021 from 3-5 and 7-9 p.m. A Funeral Service will be held in the Smith’s Funeral Home Chapel on Monday, July 26, 2021 at 10:00am. Entombment to follow at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery. In accordance with provincial regulations, there is a limit to the number of visitors who may attend at one time.
