With heavy hearts we announce the passing of Donald William Reginald George at Park Avenue Manor, Burlington in his 89th year. Beloved husband of Barbara Patricia (nee Patterson) for 64 years. Loved father to David (predeceased), Carol (predeceased) and Heather. Proud grandfather of Jason, James, and Jessica; great-grandfather of Aidan and Grace. Survived by his sister Florence Toth.
Don was a Metallurgical Engineer with a master’s degree. He worked with Stelco for 38 years mostly in Research and Development. Visitation will be held at KITCHING, STEEPE & LUDWIG FUNERAL HOME, 146 Mill St. N., Waterdown on Friday from 7-9 p.m. where a Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, June 19, 2021, at 1:30 p.m. followed with interment at St. George’s Anglican Cemetery, Lowville.
Cremation has taken place. Current capacity limits require everyone to RSVP for the visitation through Don’s Tribute Wall on the funeral home website or by calling the office at 905-689-4852 between 9 and 6 p.m. and attendance to the Service will be limited to the family.
