ELLIS, Charles Reginald Peacefully on June 28, 2016, God called Charlie home, in his 83rd year. Beloved husband of Diane. He leaves to mourn, daughters Deborah (Todd) and Diane (Sam). Loving grandfather of Travis, Aria, Meredith, Colin, Amanda and Gillian. Pre- deceased by his cherished wife Beverley, son Paul and Jennifer Anne Hide. Charlie proudly served 36 years on the Hamilton Fire Department and enjoyed 26 years of retirement. A private family visitation will take place at CRESMOUNT FUNERAL HOME, 322 Fennell Ave. E., on Thursday, June 30 from 12 p.m. until time of service at 1 p.m. in the chapel. Interment to follow at Woodland Cemetery.
