CRIFO, Anna It is with a profound sense of loss that we announce the passing of Anna Crifo on January 29, 2021, in Peterborough, after a brief illness.
Born in Italy, Anna came to Toronto with her parents, Antonio and Tindera (Sobera) Crifo as a young child. She was a noted educator and taught in Catholic Schools in Toronto, Scarborough and East York, retiring after teaching for 32 years. She will be remembered for her work in assisting with the production of school plays in various schools.
She had a love of music and sang in the TCDSB choir for many years. Anna was predeceased by her parents and brothers Sam and Joe. She is survived by her sister-in-law Noreen and her children, Sandra (Chris), Anthony, Lisa and Adrianna and by her sister-in-law Barbara and her children Robert (Theresa), Marina (Michael), and Daniel ( Andrea), as well as many grandnieces and grandnephews. Her funeral and burial will take place on Thursday, February 4, 2021, at 11:00 a.m.
