LYON, BARBARA ANNE Peacefully, on Saturday, January 12, 2019, in Richmond Hill, Ontario, at the age of 88.
Beloved daughter of the late Thomas and Blanche Lyon. Predeceased by her loving siblings Dorothy, Helen and William. Barbara will be greatly missed by her dear nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews and her many kitties.
Barbara’s family wish to express their gratitude to the staff at Mackenzie Health Long Term Care for their compassion.
The family will receive friends at the HOLY CROSS CATHOLIC FUNERAL HOME, 211 Langstaff Road East (west of Bayview Avenue) from 2:00-4:00 and 6:00-8:00 p.m. on Wednesday, January 16, 2019. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated within the funeral home in the Chapel of St. Joseph on Thursday, January 17th at 9:30 a.m. The final rite of committal will take place at Holy Cross Cemetery (8361 Young Street, Thornhill).
If desired, memorial donations may be made to the CNIB, the Heart & Stroke Foundation or the Toronto Wildlife Centre.
