CIURIAK, Maria At home with family at her side, she passed away peacefully on Saturday, January 12, 2019 in her 95th year.
Predeceased by her husband Nicholas. Beloved mother of Nadja, Dan (Sylvie), Lucy, and Taras. Proud Baba of Natassia (David), and Alexandra. Maria will be dearly missed by her many nieces and nephews, and her extended family in Ukraine and the United States.
The family wishes to thank the caregivers and nurses who provided wonderful care and support to her and her family at her home throughout the last 6 months of her life.
Visitation at the MARKEY-DERMODY FUNERAL HOME , 1774 King Street East (at Kenilworth) on Monday, January 21, 2019 from 2:00 – 4:00 p.m. and 6:00 – 9:00 p.m. Panachyda at 7:30 p.m. Funeral Service will be held at Holy Spirit Ukrainian Catholic Church, 15 St. Olga Street, Hamilton on Tuesday, January 22, 2019 at 10:00 a.m. Interment to follow at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery.
