CONFENTE, Cesare It is with the deepest sadness that we announce the loss of our beloved father, husband, brother, and best friend, Cesare Confente. Cesare passed away peacefully on March 6, 2019, in his 58th year after a courageous fight against brain cancer. His intelligence, bright personality, and contagious smile touched the lives of everyone he met.
Selfless husband of Grace (nee Schirripa), cherished father of Oriana, Gabriel, Luca, and Bianca, loving brother of Maria, and son of the late Erminio Confente and Ida Ciancio – he will be profoundly missed by all of his family members and countless friends.
We cannot thank enough Dr. Torres-Trejo and the oncology team of Juravinski Cancer Centre as well as Dr. Fornasier and Dr. Lang of Joseph Brant Hospital for treating Cesare with unparalleled kindness and dignity.
Please join us for the visitation at SMITH’S FUNERAL HOME, 1167 Guelph Line (one stoplight north of QEW), BURLINGTON (905-632-3333), on Monday, March 18, 2019 from 3 – 5 and 7 – 9 p.m. A Funeral Mass will be held at St. Paul the Apostle Roman Catholic Church, 2265 Headon Road, Burlington, on Tuesday, March 19th at 11 a.m.
