passed away peacefully at Margaret Bahen Hospice, Newmarket, Ontario, surrounded by his family on Tuesday January 1, 2019 in his 76th year. Survived by his wife of 50 years Maureen, sons: Scott (Shawn), Zachary (Anya) and Matt (Jenn), brother, Michael and sisters: Lynne, Susan and Donna. He will be greatly missed also by his 8 grandchildren.
Dan was a graduate of Dalhousie University, establishing a successful career in Group, Life and Travel Health Insurance, culminating in his position of VP, Medipac Assistance International. Dan was an avid golfer and a “Life Master” of the game of bridge, and is now partnering with his father in Heaven.
A “Celebration of Life” will be held at Meadowbrook Golf Club, 11939 Warden Avenue, Gormley, Ontario L0H 1G0 on Saturday January 12, 2019 at 3 p.m.
