Passed away on March 28th, 2019 at Brampton Civic Hospital at the age of 91 years old, still sharing his sharp wit and humor with family and friends.
Stew was a devoted husband, father, grandfather and great grandfather who lived most of his life in Brampton with his wife Shirley (nee Childs) of 66 years. Loving father of Dawn Ruhl (late Lyle), Debbie (George), Ricky, Ronnie (Janine), Tracey Dobson (Brian), Shelley (Kelly), Lisa (Glen) and Lori Ciccotelli (Bruno). Cherished grandfather to eight grandchildren and great-grandfather to fifteen great- grandchildren. Stew had many interests and such as skiing, (patrol), golfing, curling, and was a true Montreal Canadians Fan. Stewart always cared about others happiness before his own and was usually the life of any party or any given get together.
Family and friends may gather at the Andrews Community Funeral Centre – 8190 Dixie Road, Brampton (North of Steeles Avenue) 905-456-8190, on Tuesday, April 2, 2019 from 1pm -2pm.
