DUNCAN, Doreen Letisha (nee Afrika) In her 64th year went home to be with God on Tuesday, September 25, 2018 at St. Joseph’s Villa in Dundas, Ontario. Doreen will be missed dearly by her family – her husband Gerald, her children Athan and his wife Kimberley, Wen-Lan and her husband Jeff, Tamlyn and her husband Reuben, as well as her grandchildren Noah, Myah, Grace, Andrew and Jesse. Doreen was born in Cape Town, South Africa as was her husband and children. Doreen and Gerald left all they knew behind in South Africa to provide a much better life for their children in Canada. Doreen was a school teacher for most of her life before dedicating her life to working with special needs individuals. Doreen and her family wish to thank the wonderful staff at St. Joseph’s Villa for their care and love.
