GARNER, Robert Edwin June 9, 1923 – January 15, 2019 Passed away peacefully, on January 15, 2019 at the Joseph Brant Hospital in his 96th year.
Beloved husband of the late Betty Noreene for 70 years. Loving father of Christopher (Jane), Kimberly (Kathy) and Philip (Donna). Cherished by his grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Robert worked for Orenda Engines in the 1950s for the Avro Arrow Project. Robert worked for Atomic Energy UK, and back in Canada ended his career as manager of Kot Tool and Die Company in Stoney Creek.
A memorial service will take place on Saturday, January 19, 2019 at 2 p.m. at the DODSWORTH & BROWN FUNERAL HOME – BURLINGTON CHAPEL (2241 New St., Burlington).
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Canadian War Plane Museum.
