GLOGE, Kathy Rita (nee Mulawka) It is with immense sadness we announce the passing of Kathy at the age of 61, on Sunday, March 3, 2019 at the Juravinski Hospital, Hamilton.
She was the loving wife of Klaus for over 41 years and she will be sadly missed by her children Kristina Carrera (husband, Fidel) of Amsterdam, Netherlands, Konrad Gloge of Toronto, Ontario and Kurtis Gloge (wife, Kristy) of Edmonton, Alberta. She was the dear daughter of Russell Mulawka of Edmonton and Olga Mulawka of Edmonton and she was also loving sister to Sandra Budjak (Ken), Louise Traill and Carol Yaworski (Jim) and their families. She will also be missed by her mother-in-law Margot Gloge (late husband, Hermann), as well as, all the Gloge siblings, who considered Kathy as their sister.
Kathy had a great heart and a gentle way. She had a smile for everyone and always tried to add brightness to lives of those around her, including strangers. She loved many things like the colour yellow, music, dancing, starry skies, and travelling to Mexico, new places and the world. She was an avid crafts-woman, with endless creativity. There was nothing she couldn’t create from clothing to jewelry, even homemade body care products. Kathy infused her heart in everything she did. Kathy touched the lives of many and will be fondly remembered by those who had the pleasure of meeting her.
Private family services were held in Waterdown, Ontario. A Celebration of Kathy’s Life will be held in Edmonton, Alberta. Details will be provided by the family at a later date.
