IARUSSO, Jeffrey David

IARUSSO, Jeffrey David This is a heartfelt announcement of the loss of a profoundly loved man, Jeff Iarusso, who passed away on March 16, 2019 at the age of 27.

Loveable and devoted son of Dave and Terri. Supportive and admired big brother to Kelly and Greg. Loving partner, protector, and best friend to Roxanne Wildenstein. Dedicated eldest grandchild to Christina and the late Lorenzo Iarusso, and John and Margaret Kelly. Adored by the extended family of the Coulson’s, Bensette’s and Boone’s.

Those who know Jeff will know that he was a man of very few words. He was the calm, stoic presence in the room; thinking before he spoke and taking great care to act with purpose, courtesy and consideration for others. Jeff was a true gentleman. No one who met him could say a bad word about him. He was tireless in his support of others and completely selfless in his love for family and friends. He was a rock-solid foundation to so many people who have forever been touched by his love. Jeff has always been a talented man. He was near unbeatable on the golf course, billiards table and darts and he always seemed to catch the biggest fish during his frequent and cherished fishing trips on Pigeon Lake. He was a natural tradesman. Planning, designing and building came easy to him. With enough thought, he could build just about anything. He was meticulous and had an incredibly fine eye for detail. These abilities served him well in his career as an electrician and during the renovations he made to his house which he bought at the young age of 23. His work ethic, drive and determination were something to be admired.

Despite all of this, Jeff was always humble and operated with modesty and humility. Above all else, Jeff put his family first. He would prioritize time with his loved ones over anything else in the world. He was always a protector, often wishing someone “safe travels” before they left the house, even if they were simply walking down the street. His loyalty to those around him was unwavering and he stopped at nothing to ensure that his loved ones were safe, content and happy. Jeff will be deeply missed but fondly remembered. He will live on through the many hearts and minds of those who knew him. His contagious giggle will forever ring in our ears. Safe travels Jeff.

At Jeff’s request, there will be no funeral services and our family will celebrate his life privately.
