John William Bernard Farris, age 51, of Scarborough, Ontario passed away suddenly and unexpectedly at Scarborough General Hospital on Sunday September 16, 2018. John was born December 1, 1966. Left to mourn is his wife and partner of 22 years Lynette Sloss. “John was the light and joy in my life. I will forever be changed. He will be missed.” Pre-deceased by his grandparents Margaret Jane and William Thomas Farris as well as by his step-father Sylvio Crouteau. John wanted everyone to be happy and he saw the good in everyone he met. John stood for equality, education and he stood for the fact that all should have a strong foundation. He fought for the little guy.
Visitation will occur Thursday, September 27, 2018 from 1 to 3 p.m. at Giffen-Mack Funeral Home & Cremation Centre, 4115 Lawrence Ave East, West Hill, ON M1E 2S2.
