Maria passed away peacefully at home with her family by her side at the age of 83. She is survived by her beloved husband Evripidis (Peter) of 61 years. Maria was born November 9, 1934 in Vevi, Florina, Greece. Youngest child of Christos Pedias & Fila Ambas and sister to six predeceased siblings. Loving mother to Thea (Danny), Vangie (Enrico), Jim (Carol), Bessie (Jim) and pre-deceased by daughter Annie. Very cherished and adoring Baba to Peter, Michael, Paul, David, Christian, Kayla & Nicolas.
Visitation will be held at the Jerrett Funeral Home, 660 Kennedy Road, Scarborough (between Eglinton and St. Clair Aves. E.) on Friday, October 12, 2018 from 2-4 p.m. & 5-8 p.m. A funeral service will be held in the chapel on Saturday, October 13, 2018 at 10 a.m. Interment at Pine Hills Cemetery. SECTION 19.
