McINTYRE, John Passed away peacefully at St. Joseph’s Hospital on Saturday, January 5th in his 89th year.
Beloved husband of the late Sylvia McIntyre, and companion of Marjory McLean. Dear father of Brian (Lorna) and the late Brenda Szabo (Larry). Beloved grandfather of Andrew (Jayde) and Justin (Jolene). Great-grandfather of Adelaide and Angus.
Born on April 28, 1929 to father Angus and mother Mary in Glasgow Scotland, John moved to Ontario, Canada with his wife Sylvia and young baby daughter Brenda in 1954. An electrician by trade, John lived and contributed his time to many groups and projects at St. Elizabeth Village for the last 35 years, including the rebuilding of The Stations Of The Cross. He will be missed by his many friends and colleagues.
There will be a private family ceremony in the near future at the White Chapel Cemetery.
