ATTARD, Michael (The Chief) August 8, 1930 – August 11, 2018 Entered into rest peacefully with his family by his side on Saturday, August 11, 2018 at St. Joseph’s Hospital at the age of 88.
Beloved husband to Giusseppina, nee Ialenti, for 63 years. Loving father of Ellen and Gabriel Baldini; Gerald and Judy Attard; Marie-Antoinette and Tara Attard-Bullock and Emilio and Mary Attard. Adored Papa of Mark, Michael, Jen, Steven, Nicole, David, Sandra, Anthony, Lauren and Alexandra. Great-grandfather to Olivia, Myah and Emma. Michael is survived and will be sadly missed, by his two sisters, a brother-in-law along with many nieces and nephews in Malta.
The Chief was a dedicated family man whose family always came first and who never missed the opportunity to tell us how proud he was of our achievements. The family would like to thank all those who provided support for Michael during his illness.
Visitation at Bay Gardens Funeral Home – “William J. Markey Chapel” , 947 Rymal Road East, HAMILTON (905-574-0405) on Wednesday, August 15th from 2:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m. Vigil Prayers will be held at 2:30 p.m. A Funeral Mass will be held at Regina Mundi Roman Catholic Church, 631 Mohawk Road West, Hamilton on Thursday, August 16, 2018 at 10:00 a.m. Entombment at Holy Sepulchre Catholic Cemetery, Burlington to follow.
