SMITHERAM, Reginald Eric With family beside him Eric died at Sunnybrook Hospital, L Wing, on January 4, 2019 at 93 years of age.
Longtime resident of Mimico, member of Mimico Presbyterian Church, member of Lakeshore Lodge AF & AM no. 65 G.R.C. and member of the Hustler Bible Class. RCAF Veteran of WWII.
Beloved husband of 68 plus years to Dorothy Smitheram (Coates). Dearly loved father of Marlene, Dale, Mark (Ruth) and Glenn (Nancy). Loved grandfather of Jessica, Matthew (Romina), Ryan and Anthony, and great-grandfather of Michela. Dear brother of Stuart Smitheram and Susie Sagar.
A special thank you to the staff of Sunnybrook, L Wing, for their care and kindness this past year, and to Jankie for helping him fly in the right direction in the afternoons.
Visitation will be held at G.H. Hogle Funeral Home, 63 Mimico Ave., Etobicoke on Wednesday, January 9, 2019 from 12 – 1 p.m. until time of service at 1 p.m.
