VALLENTYNE, Geoffrey Gordon Born in 1971, Geoff passed away peacefully on October 11, 2018 of respiratory failure. His health had declined for many months, and it recently worsened acutely and required admission to St. Joseph’s Healthcare Centre in Hamilton. Geoff was fortunate to receive high quality care and personal attention from Dr. Jason Chung and the allied health team in the ICU and the Step-Down Unit.
Geoff was of Cree origin, kind-hearted, and endowed with a great sense of humour. He is survived by his sisters, Jane and Anne Marie (Victor Stanley), by his brothers, Peter (Marylene Pastides) and Stephen (Anne Sullivan), and, more importantly, by his beloved cat Mini.
A memorial event will be held the evening of November 23 and announced on Facebook.
