MADDALENA MASTRONARDI (nee GEMMITI) Having lived a long and blessed life, we are saddened by the passing of our beloved mother, grandmother and great- grandmother, Maddalena at the age of 89. She died peacefully surrounded by her loving family on June 20, 2016. She was born in Sora, Italy on September 16, 1926. Maddalena is lovingly remembered by her daughter, Maria and her husband, Emilio and her late son, Tony and wife Marisa. Adoringly remembered by her 6 grandchildren, Susie (George), Laura (Gino), Paul (Carmen), Chrissy (Lido), Peter (Antonella) and Andrew (Nadia). She will also be greatly missed by her 17 great-grandchildren. Nonna will always be remembered for her generosity, kindness and unconditional love. The family gratefully requests that in lieu of flowers memorial donations be made to Sleeping Children Around the World (www.scaw.org) and Missionaries of St. Charles-SIMN (www.simn-global.org). Visitations will be held at Sacred Heart Parish (14485 Jane St., King City) on Wednesday, June 22nd from 9 a.m. – 12:30 p.m. followed by the Funeral Mass at 1 p.m. Entombment to follow at Westminster Cemetery (5830 Bathurst St.).
