Al Howard BIELBY
BIELBY, Alec Howard The family of Al Bielby are saddened to announce his passing on Friday, June 9, 2017, with his heartbroken wife by his side. Al leaves behind his wife Debbie (Hannigan), his two step-daughters, Tiffany Fraser (Nick) and Krystal Hannigan. Al was a proud and loving grandpa to Mason and Leah Fraser. Predeceased by his parents, Howard and Marg Bielby. Also survived by his brother Brian (Trisha) and his sister Chris Macintosh (Brad) as well as nieces, Amy, Erin, Rachel and Emily, and his cousin Doug Bielby (Laurie) with whom he shared the same sense of humour and love of practical jokes. He also leaves behind his little brother, Steve Gravefell (Kim) and his family, with whom he shared a forty, plus years friendship. He will be sadly missed by his many cousins, relatives and friends, and fondly remembered by his co-workers at Stelco and his golfing buddies. We are very thankful for the care and compassion given by Al’s health care team, and for the encouraging words and prayers from everyone that helped Al during his fight. In keeping with Al’s wishes, cremation has taken place and there will be no service. A celebration of life will take place at a later date.
