ALLEN WILSON DUKE
Passed away peacefully at the age of 97 on Monday, April 10, 2017 at 4:25 p.m. Beloved husband to the late Kathleen Billie (White) and loving father to Michael, Carol (Frank) and James. Proud grandfather to Micheline Murawski. Cherished great-grandfather to Jaden Murawski. Loving brother of the late Hilda Read. He will be missed by his many nieces and nephews, as well as great-nieces and great-nephews and extended family. Allen was raised in Mono Township in Orangeville, Ontario, on the family farm. Later relocating to Toronto where he then started his own family and worked hard to provide for his growing family as a Cartage Owner/Operator for Motor Express Terminals for 35 years until his retirement. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in his memory to The Salvation Army (Mississauga). Visitation was held at SCOTT FUNERAL HOME (420 Dundas St. E., Mississauga), on Wednesday, April 12, 2017 from 5-9 p.m. A Funeral Service will be held in the chapel Thursday, April 13, 2017 at 10:30 a.m. A brief reception will take place prior to burial at Forest Lawn Cemetery in Orangeville, Ontario.
