ROBINSON, ALVIN GERALD Alvin Gerald Robinson, long time owner of Robinson Hardware in Barrie, died on Thursday, July 27, 2017 in his 99th year. Cherished husband of the late Verna Robinson (nee Gorrell). Father of John (Carleen), Joan Homer, Jerry (Marilyn), and Jim (Karen). Loving grandfather of Lori, Carrie, Dan, Jeff, Jon, Becky, Mike, Tim, Kate, Jill and Molly. Great-grandfather to Lorne, Justin, Zachary, Lucas, Isla, Sebastian, George, Charlie and Stella. Predeceased by brothers Otter and Ralph. Uncle to Elizabeth, Glenda, Charles and Kathi. Family and friends may call at the Steckley-Gooderham Funeral Home, 30 Worsley Street, Barrie, on Monday, July 31 from 2 p.m. until the time of the service in the chapel at 4 p.m..
