PEROZZO, Amabile (nee SEVERIN) Amabile died peacefully at Morriston Park Nursing Home at 5:30 a.m. on Thursday, August 24, 2017. Born on December 19, 1922 in the small town of Paese, Italy, to Stella and Noe Severin. Amabile arrived in Canada in July of 1956. On October 9, 1965, Amabile married Narciso Perozzo. Amabile is survived by her son, David (Emma) and grandchildren Daniel, Nicholas and Madeline, all from Guelph. She will also be missed by her two step-daughters and their families: Lydia and her children Alyssa (Brad) and Stefeno (Kate) and grandson Wyatt; and Diane (Vince) and their children Joseph (Teresa), Andrew and Michael and grandson Vincent. Amabile is survived by many nieces and nephews in both Canada and Italy. Amabile was predeceased by her devoted husband, Narciso and by all her siblings: Guido, Alberto, Pietro, Anselmo and Noemi. Thanks to the staff and residents at Morriston Park Nursing Home for taking such great care of Amabile, known to them as Nonna. Amabile was very happy there. Visitation will be held at Gilbert MacIntyre & Son Funeral Home, 252 Dublin St. N., Guelph, on Thursday, August 31, 2017 from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. with vigil prayers taking place at 8:45 p.m. A Funeral Mass for Amabile will be held at St. John’s Parish, 45 Victoria Rd. N., on Friday, September 1, 2017 at 11 a.m. Entombment to follow at Our Lady Immaculate Mausoleum, Marymount Cemetery, Guelph. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Morriston Park Nursing Home.
