ANDREW RUSSELL AUSTIN Retired Ontario Provincial Police Officer Of Barrie, ON, 91 years young, born in Toronto, was called by the Lord on Monday, March 13, 2017. He now joins his beloved wife Phyllis who has been waiting for him these past 17 years. He will be sorely missed by daughters Wendy Fralick (Steve), Patricia Browning (Robert) and Gail Austin and his much loved sister Edith Austin of California. He will be missed by his precious grandchildren Andrew Markiton (Carrie), Jeffery Markiton (Bonnie) and Stephanie Ferguson. He loved and enjoyed spending time with his great-grandchildren Bridie (age 20), Kieran (age 18), Liam (age 13), Hannah (age 7) and Taylor (age 4). Dad, you are with the angels now where you can run and run and never get tired. For those who wish to say their goodbyes, visitation will be held at the Steckley- Gooderham Funeral Home, 201 Minet’s Point Rd., Barrie, on Thursday, March 16th from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Funeral services will be held on Friday, March 17th at 1 p.m. at St. George’s Anglican Church, 9 Granville St., Barrie. A light luncheon will be served at St. George’s following the service. All are welcome. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Alzheimer Society are appreciated.
