Peacefully, with her family by her side, at the Trillium Health Centre-Mississauga, in her 75th year. Devoted wife of Irwin for 51 years. Cherished mother of Brenda Mennie (Jamie), Cheryl Townsend, and Pamela Thomas (Dave). Adored Grandma of Kyle, Robin and Zara. Dear sister of Bob (Cathy). Anita will be dearly missed by her extended family, friends and colleagues from both the Etobicoke and Peel School Boards where she spent her career as a primary Teacher. Friends may call at the Turner & Porter “Neweduk-Erin Mills” Chapel, 1981 Dundas St. W., Mississauga (just east of Erin Mills Pkwy.), on Thursday from 6-9 p.m. and Friday from 2-4 and 6-9 p.m. Funeral Service will be held at Erindale United Church, 1444 Dundas Cres., Mississauga on Saturday, October 29, 2016 at 10:30 a.m. If desired, remembrances may be made to Sleeping Children Around the World.
