Anne (Gladys) VIRGIN
(nee COLLEDGE)
November 29, 1930 – March 9, 2017
After 86 years of extraordinary living, Anne quietly passed away leaving behind her husband (Jim) of 67 years and her 6 children Linda (David), Janice (John), Don (Bev), John, Michael (Carolyn) and Jim (Karen). Her 12 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren will miss their doting Grannie who always had a special treat and a motherly hug. She will be missed by her surviving sister Louise and all the Bradleys, along with her west end clan, the Maddens. She will be remembered by her many friends from her 30 years of service at the 6th Toronto Ladies Auxiliary for her boisterous laugh and ability to chat all night long. Her family and friends will remember her for her many practical jokes, some of which are legendary to this day.
She will be missed.
Visitation on Tuesday, March 14th at 3 p.m., memorial service at 4:30 p.m., reception to follow. Pine Hills Cemetery, 625 Birchmount Rd., Scarborough.
