ANNE KURMEY

Our adored mother Anne, passed peacefully on September 16, 2016, just two days short of her 87th birthday, with her family by her side, just as she has always been by our side. She was born in Vonda, Saskatchewan, September 18, 1929. She will be profoundly missed by her loving children Dale, Sonia (Don) and Bev and her adored and adoring grandchildren: Dawn (Gates), Christopher, Robert (Natalie), Matthew, and Jeffrey; and step-grandchildren: Lauren, Aaron, Laars, Brittany, and Kaitlyn, who all called her Baba. Auntie Anne will also be missed by many nieces and nephews especially her sisters’ kids from Saskatoon and Vancouver, and those in Toronto. Anne was predeceased by her parents, husband and all of her siblings, who she missed dearly. Her many friends, young and older, will miss her kindness, true spirit and loving ways. Mom made everyone feel welcome and the most important thing in her life was family. Her sense of humour carried her through many things, including her last fight. Friends may call at the Turner & Porter Butler Chapel 4933 Dundas St. W., Etobicoke (between Islington and Kipling Aves.) on Tuesday, from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. A Service of Remembrance will be held in the Chapel on Wednesday, September 21, 2016, at 2 p.m. For those who wish, donations may be made to the charity of your choice. Online condolences may be made through www.turnerporter.ca. Rest in peace. Heaven now has the best perogies in the world. We love you and will always know you “love us more.” If you want to do something to remember her, please give someone a big hug and tell them that you love them.
