Antonia ROSATONE
ROSATONE, Antonia Peacefully at Hamilton General Hospital on Saturday, March 11, 2017 in her 90th year. Predeceased by her beloved husband Donato. Cherished mother of Anna and the late Erdere Bartolomeo and the late Francesca and the late Daniele Varrasso. Pre-deceased by her parents Eufrasia and Francesco, and siblings Elena, Sabatino and Paolo. Precious Nonna of Riccardo, Antonio, Daniela, Amanda and Billy, and bisnonna of Lily and Baby Daniele. Loved sister of Cesare and Lucia Svizzero, and sister-in-law of Antonia Ferrini (Giuseppe), Maria Rosatone (Sabatino), and Elida Rosatone (Giuseppe). She will be greatly missed by many relatives and friends living in Canada, U.S.A. and Italy. A special thank you to the doctors and nurses of the 8 West Acute Medicine Unit, Dr. Ralph Profetto and the CCAC – especially Amanda – for all of their care and compassion. Friends and relatives will be received at FRISCOLANTI FUNERAL CHAPEL, 43 Barton St. E. (near James St.) on Wednesday from 4 to 9 p.m. with Vigil Prayers at 5:30 p.m. Funeral Mass to take place on Thursday, March 16 at 10:30 a.m. at St. Anthony’s Church. Interment to follow at Mountainview Gardens Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations to the St. Anthony’s Church Maintenance Fund would be appreciated by the family.
