STIH, Anton Passed away peacefully at home with family by his side in Toronto on Monday July 3, 2017, in his 96th year. He was born in Slovenia and immigrated to Canada in 1947. He was predeceased by his beloved wife Kristina along with his brother Alojzij and sisters Ana and Maria. Cherished father of Kristina Auciello, Anna (John Bies), Dragica, Toni Butschek (Peter), Louis and Barbara Adams (Joe). Will also be missed by relatives and friends both in Canada, United States and Slovenia. Visitation will be held on Thursday, July 6th prior to Mass at Our Lady of the Miraculous Medal Church, 739 Brown’s Line, Toronto, from 9 to 11 a.m. Funeral Mass to follow at 11 a.m. Interment will take place at Assumption Cemetery. The family would like to extend a thank you to the staff from CCAC and SRT, especially to nurses Sophia and Lyubov. In lieu of flowers, donations to Dom Lipa or a charity of your choice would be appreciated by the family.
