William ASCENUIK
ASCENUIK, William September 24, 1930 – August 26, 2016 William Ascenuik was the son of the late Teodor and the late Domnica Acsenuik. He grew up in Hamilton, along with his sisters, Elizabeth, Mary and Eileen. In 1950, William married Casandra Goian and had a small but strong family, with son Philippe (Fherly) and daughter Casandra (Dilellio). Mosu was adored by many grandchildren, one great-grandchild, nieces, nephews and Godchildren. William was a strong pillar in the Romanian community and was a member of the church choir. In the last thirteen years, Bill’s home in Burlington grew, with Elizabeth Donison and their continued mission of bonding and loving with friends and family. What can you say about a man who has accomplished so much in life and touched so many people in so many different ways. Thank you: Dad, husband, brother, uncle, Godfather, boss, friend and neighbor. “You are a good man with simple values which were strong in love and life.” A visitation honouring the life of a good son from Hamilton will take place at the FRISCOLANTI FUNERAL CHAPEL, 43 Barton Street East (near James Street) on Monday, August 29, 2016 from 4 – 9 p.m., with Panachyda at 7 p.m. The funeral service will take place at Holy Resurrection Romanian Orthodox Church, on Tuesday, August 30, 2016 at 11 a.m. Interment will follow at Woodland Cemetery.
