AUDREY Mc COMB (KERR) 1920 – 2016 With great sadness we announce the passing of our loving sister on Thursday, July 7, 2016 at Shepherd Lodge. Beloved wife of the late Bertie Mc Comb (1996). Eldest daughter of the late Annie and William J. Kerr. Audrey will be greatly missed by sisters Evelyn Young and Doreen Walker, nephew Phillip Young, his wife Alexia, nieces Evelyn and Connie and many cousins and friends. Audrey proudly served in the Women’s Royal Canadian Naval Service joining shortly after they mobilized in World War II. Training in Galt, Halifax then to London towards war end, with wonderful memories of VE day celebrations and seeing the King and Queen on the balcony of Buckingham Palace. Friends and family will be received at Toronto Free Presbyterian Church, 1600 Neilson Rd., Scarborough at 1 p.m. on Tuesday, July 12th with service at 2 p.m. Cremation at a later date. A special thank you to the staff at Shepherd Lodge for the exceptional care, respect and dignity provided to Audrey during her years there. Also to her many devoted friends at Toronto Free Presbyterian. Donations to the Heart & Stroke Foundation would be greatly appreciated.
