KING, BARBARA JUNE (nee FRAME) Passed away peacefully on October 1, 2017 at Mackenzie Health Long Term Care at the age of 78, after a long and courageous battle with Alzheimer’s. Beloved wife of David Charles King, loving mother of Jodi (Rob) Labelle and Christopher (Nelly) King, adoring Nana to Victoria, Julia, Jaime, Nolan and Laylah, dearly loved sister of Lynda (Ron) Gilmour and brother James (Jim) Frame. June will be truly missed by her extended family, friends and all that knew her. June had a full life of primary school teaching, tutoring, volunteering and helping others with class and grace. She was a recipient of the Queen’s Medal of Honour for all her service. A private memorial has been planned for a later date. Many thanks to all the nurses and caregivers at Mackenzie Health LTC for the care and love that was given to June.
