BARGE, Donald Kenneth Sadly, we announce the passing of Don on Sunday, October 23, 2016, in his 88th year. Don was born in Stratford, September 20, 1929, son of the late Louis and Cecelia Barge. He leaves his wife of 63 years, Margaret (nee Martin), and his two daughters, Joanne Romanow (Paul), and Shelley Kennedy (Lance), predeceased by son-in-law, Roger Kennedy. He will be missed by grandchildren Thomas Romanow, Heather Romanow (Bryan), Tyler Kennedy (Michelle), Jaimie Kennedy (Scott), and Jocelyn Schuler (Jason). His sense of humour and dedication will be missed. Family and friends will be received at Stanley Avenue Baptist Church, 115 Stanley Avenue at Locke Street, Hamilton, Wednesday, October 26th, from 7 – 9 p.m. (please use entrance from parking lot off Stanley). A celebration of life will be held Thursday, October 27th, at 11 a.m. in the church sanctuary. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Cancer Assistance Program or Stanley Avenue Baptist Church would be appreciated by the family. Please wear something red in honour of Don.
